SpeedFix Cancellation Policy

At SpeedFix, we understand that plans may change. This Cancellation Policy outlines how and when you can cancel a booking made through our platform.

 

1. Customer Cancellations  

You may cancel a service request under the following conditions:

 

a. Before Service Provider is Assigned  

- Cancellations made before a provider has been assigned or dispatched will attract no charges.  

- Any prepaid amount will remain in your wallet or be refunded according to our refund policy.

 

b. After Service Provider is Assigned but Before Arrival  

- If you cancel after a provider has been assigned but before they arrive at your location, a small logistics or cancellation fee (₦500–₦1,000) may apply.  

- This fee helps compensate providers for the time and transportation costs already incurred.

 

c. After Provider Arrival  

- Once the service provider has arrived at your location, a cancellation will incur a visit or inspection fee, depending on the service type.  

- No refund will be issued for cancellations made after service commencement.

 

2. Service Provider Cancellations  

- A provider may cancel due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., emergencies, unavailability, or safety concerns).  

- You will be notified immediately, and you may choose to reschedule or request a full refund.  

- Repeated cancellations by a provider will lead to disciplinary action by SpeedFix.

 

3. Rescheduling  

- You may reschedule once without penalty if done before dispatch.  

- Requests made after the provider is on the way may attract a minimal rescheduling fee.

 

4. No-Show by Customer  

- If the service provider arrives and the customer is unavailable, unreachable, or unwilling to proceed, the booking will be marked as a no-show.  

- The customer will be charged a full visit fee, and no refund will apply.

 

5. Force Majeure  

If a service is disrupted or canceled due to unforeseen events (such as natural disasters, strikes, or technical issues), SpeedFix reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the booking. Customers will be notified and assisted accordingly.

 

6. Changes to This Policy  

SpeedFix may modify this Cancellation Policy from time to time. Any changes will be effective upon posting on the platform.
